Thanks to the Immortal King set, this build has an impressive array of buffs. On the other hand aspects are confusing to many players, so sets can be a good addition to provide a more straightforward route towards a style of play. I feel the aspect system has a lot of potential as new playstyles plus defensive and offensive combinations can be added. The rest is flavor for increasing defence and dps. Keeping up Wrath of the Berserker and Call of the Ancients permanently is essential to this build. It provides a 4,000 damage bonus and has loads of new complementary item options. ![]() What I like about Diablo 4 is that most builds (for rogue atleast) only really require one aspect to enable them. Nowadays, Hammer of the Ancients is one of the few Barbarian skills making use of the Immortal Kings Call set. My other option was to stay in lower torment with my preferred playstyle and farm less effectively. For example if I was recieving a lot of marauders, I would feel forced to play sentries to farming higher torment for the set corresponding with the build I really wanted to play. For many years Diablo 3 was plagued by builds not being viable unless you had a given set and that sets generally dictated what to play if you wanted to farm higher content. However it must be done in the right way and not like Diablo 3, since you are using that as an example. Sets can be good and give players a sense of direction.
